The year 10 drama GCSE students enjoyed an interactive and engaging day at the Drama Student Conference. The setting was within a West End Theatre in London and the students were able to get a flavour of what is needed to reach those C to A* grades in drama GCSE.
During the day, they participated in practical scripted activities and worked out of their comfort zone with other schools. They were able to watch performances from professional actors and also ‘live’ exam work from the previous year, grading them using the exam criteria. To top it off three students, Georgia Evans, Liam Pitcaithly and Nicole Allen were picked to show their practical work treading the boards showing some of their practical work onstage.
We can’t wait till next year!
