On Monday, 12th November, we marked the centenary of the end of World War One by holding our first annual ‘Paulet Remembers’ memorial service. All of our students assembled around the mound upon
which we built a ‘remembrance copse’. There was a short reading, a poem, laying wreaths, a prayer and a one minute silence marked at the start and end by Tom, playing The Last Post and Reveille.

The remembrance copse has seven trees, each dedicated to the local soldiers from Stapenhill who died in the trenches.

The service was very moving and allowed staff and students to pay their respects.
