On Monday, our Year 9 Art students had the incredible opportunity to work with artist Mahtab Hussain, in partnership with the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas.

Through a hands-on workshop, students explored powerful themes of identity, unity and remembrance, while learning about the British Indian Army’s contribution during WW2.

This term, they’ll be developing their own creative responses, leading to an exciting exhibition at the Arboretum in December. We can’t wait to see their artwork on display! 🌟
