Spanish

Students who study a foreign language in 6th form will develop their linguistic skills alongside their understanding of the culture and society of countries where  Spanish is spoken.

A-level Spanish is a linear course; two years of study culminating in 3 final exams.

Students study technological and social change, artistic culture, music and cinema, and learn about political engagement. Students also explore the influence of the past on present-day communities where the target language is spoken.

Assessment tasks will be varied and cover listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Students will also complete an individual research project.
