What an incredible day for our Year 8s and Year 12 IT students! 

We had the amazing opportunity to dive into the exciting world of engineering careers – and guess what? It’s not justabout building bridges and fixing machines!

We explored biomedical engineering (where science meets medicine to save lives), aerospace engineering (flying high with planes and rockets), civil engineering (designing the cities of the future) and even software and AI engineering (teaching computers to think).

But the highlight of the day? Meeting Fluffy – our adorable new AI friend who everyone instantly loved!

We also learnt about the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence, including the dangers of deepfakes and how AI can be both creative and clever. Our students even wrote a song using AI, turned those lyrics into music and finished it all off with an AI-generated music video!

It was a day packed with creativity, curiosity, and a LOT of excitement – our students left inspired, buzzing, and ready to invent the future!
