Some of our year 10 BTEC Sport students enjoyed a fantastic day out at the University of Derby. The students heard from world champion and paralympic sprinter Richard Whitehead MBE, who shared his inspirational story.

They also got to view the sports facilities, create their own sports drinks, complete challenges, and attend a variety of sport and exercise science sessions such as strength and conditioning, and fundamental movement skills. A great opportunity for our students who are interested in a career in sport. Thank you to the University of Derby!
