Entry requirements 

  • Must have achieved a minimum of a grade 4 in maths or English but preferably both. 
  • Must have 25 grade points in your best 5 GCSEs to study A Levels 
  • Must have 20 grade points in your best 5 GCSEs to study vocational qualifications only. 

 

Subject specific requirements 

  • Must achieve a strong grade 6 in maths as a minimum to study mathematics at A Level but preferably a 7 or higher. 
  • Must achieve a grade 6 in science to study A Level biology, chemistry or physics and a grade 5 in maths. 
  • Must achieve a grade 5 in maths to study engineering. 
  • Must achieve a grade 5 in a science to study medical sciences.Â
