Food around the world

We increased the cultural capital of number of Y9 students today with an additional recipe in our Food around the World unit, linking the recent topics of vegetarianism and sustainably with our healthy eating focus. Their extended homework task on the recommendations of the Eat well Guide also being implemented. A range of vegetables, not previously experienced by some were provided prepared and tasted by all. The photos showing members of the food groups embracing and clearly enjoying new flavours along with developing knife skills in this vegetable stir fry recipe.
