Jake (Paulet student), in remembrance of Simeon

It’s been so difficult to process the information of this tragedy, and even more so to write this, but my form and I all knew the laughing, joking and magician Simeon, who would demonstrate his black magic, and was so eager to try anything, he would reach towards anything he put his heart to. He lightened every lesson he was present in – ‘tap-boy’ in our science, or making us grin by telling mole jokes, and in our systems class he was the creator of stitches and puns. He was determined to become part of the RAF and loved every second of it. The entire school took a liking to him, one way or another, and my thoughts lie with him, his family, and his closest friends. It’s heartbreaking to see you disappear Simeon – but at least we know you’ll be entertaining the angels in heaven, and looking down upon all of us. We will never forget you.
