Mr Ryder (Paulet), in remembrance of Simeon

If I could hand-pick a class then Simeon would always be sitting at that desk with that smile on his face that always said “Okay! Come on then… teach me some stuff!”
He was a talented guitarist who in recent months showed a real interest in wanting to take part in public performances. Indeed, he took to the school stage only a few months ago in the school Christmas carol concert.
Simeon was the most wonderfully vibrant student who never failed to bring a laugh and joke with him to light up the music room. He contributed to lessons with a vigour and a determination that continued to gain him superb and sustained results. He was very proud of the results he was achieving within his year 10 GCSE music group. He took his musical learning seriously and I was so pleased that his endeavours were paying off in terms of the top grades he was constantly securing. My heart goes out to his family at this impossible time. I simply cannot put into words how much he will be missed.Rest easy now Simmo.
