Olivia R in remembrance of Rebecca

I remember the day I first met her. A funky little smile, she was the type of person to make a rainy day a good day. I met her at summer school when we were in year 6. We went to Conkers near the end of completing summer school and we were on the coach.  Someone had told Beccy they saw a zebra but Beccy refused to believe it so she just said it was a cow because ‘zebras don’t come to the UK’ she said. I was almost crying with laughter even though it wasn’t funny at all. But we were young so that’s what you’d expect. We would still laugh about it at school now.

I remember how we both used to anger miss caudle so much we thought we were getting kicked out of our form. We were the trouble makers of the form. But that’s what made our friendship. I know it’s not the best thing but a lot of great memories like laughing our heads off just by looking at each other from across the room, in tears walking out the door giggling. Form won’t be the same.
I remember she’d always be in well-being. I have never met anyone as strong as her. I’d walk in and she’d be like ‘you alright?’ and even if I was she would sit there and force me to tell her about my day and honestly. Everyone deserves someone like her in your life. My shoulder to cry on and I was hers. We would walk to well being together and when we walked in the look on Miss Bradley’s face… she was never impressed; I have never laughed so much in my life with anyone. The duo that was nothing but trouble.
When we were in year 7 and I slept round hers for her birthday. We woke up the next morning and you just hear Beccy go ‘omg it’s snowing!’ so loudly. You’ve never seen me move so fast! we all went to the window and before you know it we were all throwing snow at each other giggling away, if only a memory could last forever. I can’ forget it!
The most amazing moment with her was when we were both sent out at the exact same time and we looked at each other and just started laughing. I know we caused some trouble and it wasn’t the best, but the friendship we had, how could we not cause trouble, we just clicked. Everyone that knew her and met her was so lucky. Her personality was just the best thing ever, so so funny, the amount of times she had me in tears. Beccy truly did brighten my life up there was never a moment with her that I wish to forget because she gave me so many amazing memories to remember. She will be missed by so many people.
Beccy truly was amazing
