The last McMessage

It is almost four months since the school closed to all but a handful of critical worker children.  In the early days, the school was very lonely with you all at home working really hard and responding to huge numbers of emails.  Many of you have developed wonderful relationships with teachers who may never have taught you!  I have been shown many hundreds of wonderful pieces of work and I have sent out hundreds of honour marks.

Just over two weeks ago the DfE announced that all schools would fully reopen in September and welcome back all students – this is such a relief!  As I said in my letter to your parents last week, I will send ‘update’ letters by email regularly throughout the summer holiday so you all know exactly what to expect from us, and what we will expect from you, from September 2nd.  Please ensure your parent / carer reads the attached letter; it gives you and them some key information in readiness for starting back.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you in September fit and healthy and ready to achieve!

Take care everyone, don’t forget to try and complete the ‘SummerThing Different’ Challenge.
