Dr Butt (Paulet), in remembrance of Simeon

In 10 Red (and in Year 9), Simeon became known as ‘Tap Boy’ as he had an obsession with the tap next to his place. He was forever turning it on, gently, just to try to get a single drop out of it. It gave him a lot of pleasure!!!!!!! In the end, by mutual consent, we made the decision that he should move away from the tap, although he did end up back there – I’m not quite sure how. He was absent at the end of term/before shut down and even in his absence, references were still being made to ‘Tap Boy’!! References were always made to him whenever he was not there! That’s the kind of influence he had on the group and me.
