Linda (Paulet student), in remembrance of Simeon

I don’t know where to start with this because there are a lot of things I would love to say about Simeon. He had this really great smile that would never fail to make anyone laugh but also he was never afraid to say what was on his mind. His honest truth was what made him a strong brave young man who a lot of people would of looked up to. Simeon was never afraid to talk in his loudest voice and when you would combine this with his stupid, but funny jokes, the whole class would be in tears of joy. That’s what made my maths lessons with him a lot more fun, even though he got a bit annoying at times I would never want to take them back. We would make silly gestures with each other across the room, sometimes he would bring mr kipling cakes into school and come over to give me one which would annoying Miss Hanlon but it was too funny. What I miss the most is just talking and having conversations with him, even if it was just little ones like joking about tik tok or him talking about his silly dad jokes and what he was up to in his cadet camps. I remember going to army cadets once and after he was always on about to me why air cadets was way better because I know how much it meant to him. Apart from joking around he can also be a very good best friend to talk to about anything. Me, Simeon, Hannah and Matt would sometimes have our own conversations that we promised to keep between each other and it felt great knowing you could have something special like that. There’s a lot more I could say but I’ll keep them forever in my heart. I will never forget the amazing memories I have made with Simeon and the group. He was an amazing best friend to me and many people and he will never be forgotten. I will miss you Sim.
