Miss Moorhouse in remembrance of Rebecca

Rebecca was a huge character in our form, you always knew when she was there and you could always tell when she was missing. I remember the times when she would moan at me for calling her Rebecca ‘It’s Becky Miss!’ she would often say strongly. Becky had a habit of getting the giggles sometimes for what appeared to be no reason and I’d have to send her out the room to calm down and even sometimes that didn’t work, she had quite an infectious laugh. I also remember the many times I nagged at her to take out her nose piercing or asked why she wasn’t in the correct uniform. One thing about Becky that I loved that not everyone would have seen was that behind her bubbly personality and her sometimes sassy attitude was a kind and caring young lady. She would always offer me help if she could see I was struggling with something and make other students stop in the corridor so I could get through.
I’m sad Becky that you don’t know I was your secret Santa this year and that I never got the chance to give you the gift I bought and see the beautiful smile on your face. 10SCA won’t be the same without you Becky, we will all miss you so much. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time. Miss Moorhouse
