Mr Belso (Paulet), in remembrance of Simeon

Funny, caring and brave are not enough to describe Simeon but these are the words that come to mind when I think of him.
I don’t think Simeon ever tried to make me smile, it was something that came naturally to him. He was a born joker, spreading smiles and happiness like wildfire.
Simeon cared deeply for his friends, and would always take the time to speak and listen to me even when I was clearly boring him.
Simeon’s bravery is on a scale that I cannot measure myself against. Simeon was brave as a lion. He would tackle players in rugby twice his size, get up and tackle the next one. He would stand up and challenge injustice for himself and also for his peers, and he would really push himself out of his comfort zone in all aspects of his school life in an attempt to better himself.
I will miss you deeply Simeon and your infectious smile.
