Mr Kelly (Paulet), in remembrance of Simeon

Simeon was truly unique. He was a wall of noise; you would always hear him walking down the corridor minutes before he actually entered the classroom. He would always “help” me by handing out the books, though this generally involved frisbeeing them around the room. Simeon loved history and was a delight to teach. He approached every topic with a mixture of humour and wonder, and I will never forget his insistence that he would have ridden a buffalo around the Great Plains. Simeon is the main reason my hairline has receded at the rate it has over the past three years, but I have loved every minute as his Head of Year- watching him grow and develop into the wonderful young man he became. I still can’t believe he has left us and I will truly miss his smile, his noise and the creative ways he would try to get me off topic in a lesson. Rest in peace, Mr K.
